This started as a slow one, but ended up finishing it in a quick pace.  That can be easily read from the detailing that went in to the eyes.  This was a disaster since it failed to capture the likeness of the subject which is the ultimate aim of a portrait study(at least for me at this budding phase).

Well, I was attending a meeting where I was of no use.  Its hard to be in that position.  The worst part is when we are not given the choice to skip them.  Anyways this doodle turned up as an attempt to make that time useful.  This won't go in the office time sheet 😊, but yes it definitely stays in the time sheet of my life...

This was done long back in a simple unruled A3 notebook with a ball point pen.  Found this while dusting some old books.  It's quite surprising by the way it reveals where I started and where I'm ended up now.

Normally I don't prefer blending the digital tools and traditional art stuff. But this was an experiment, and I should say it was a success by the overwhelming response that I got from my facebook page. It started out as a normal sketch as usual but as it began to take shape I wanted to make it even better which eventually made me to fill out the background with some cool (dark) color so that the features stood out. This is the first time where I'm adding something with a software to a drawing, I barely adjust the darkness/lightness to make it compatible with different screen brightness.

Hope this year I would realize the resolution made, (completing 2 posts a month which adds to 24 posts). This was a quick one, one of my favorite actor.  Of course you would be more informed about this talent than me ;). Please do share your comments..
