watercolor portrait

Here's a speed watercolor portrait done on A5 sketch book.  I was not particular about capturing the likeness of the subject. The main intent was to experiment the process and pick one or two tips from it for future attempts.

mayflower

graphite stick on A5 sketch book.

angelina

Pencil sketch on A5 sketch book.

paper mache

This was made for display as part of the new year celebration, Its made of reused paper and the finishing touches by threads which are disposed from the handloom industry.  Ofcourse there's a skeleton that has went into this which is again recycled iron.  The master sculpture is my brother, unfortunately I was not able to assist him in this venture.

here's another one, for this the outer color is a black matt finish paint.

Mamta watercolor

This is a watercolor painting of a south indian actress and playback singer, if you are curious to know more about her please visit https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mamta_Mohandas
I've made a youtube video of how I approached this one, please feel free to leave a comment or suggestions.  You can view it here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dlrnl5hEuDU

acrylics painting

I bought the acrylics paint long back and totally forgot about it after using once or twice. Most of the paint got hardened and spoiled.  Just thought of sharing one random work which I did recently with the colors that came out of the tube(which were still alive and flowed out seemlessly).  Here's the palette, it doesn't have much colors for the obvious reason stated above.

and here is the final result..

please let me know your thoughts on this :)
